Stainless steel electrode can be divided into chromium stainless steel electrode nickel and chromium stainless steel electrode, the two kinds of electrodes in every accords with national standard,

all according to GB/T983-1995 evaluation provisions. Chromium stainless steel has certain corrosion resistant (oxidizing acid, organic acid, cavitation) heat resistant and corrosion resistant performance.

Usually was chosen for power generation, chemical, oil and other equipment materials. But chromium stainless steel usually solderability poorer, should pay attention to welding technology, heat treatment, conditions and suitable welding wire.

Chrome nickel stainless steel rod has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, widely used in chemical, fertilizer, oil, medical machinery manufacturing. To prevent heat and produce between eye due to corrosion, welding current shoulds not be too big, about 20% less than the carbon steel electrode, arc shoulds not be too long, the fast cooling between layers, with narrow welds advisable.
